Zantac

Each tablet contains 150mg Ranitidine (as hydrochloride).

Available in 14 and 28 tablet packs from New Zealand pharmacies.

Effective, fast-acting and long-lasting relief from heartburn and acid indigestion, due to gastro-oesophageal reflux, with one tablet. Zantac works by controlling the production of stomach acid.

Adults and children over 12 years: swallow one tablet whole (do not chew) with water as soon as you have symptoms, at any time day or night. Maximum 2 tablets in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 14 days continuously. Do not use if under 12 years of age unless directed to do so by your doctor.

Store below 25 degrees. Protect from heat.

This preparation is for the relief of minor and temporary ailments and should be used strictly as directed. Do not use with aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines or for any purpose other than specified on the pack, except on doctors’ advice.

If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks or if new or additional symptoms occur, consult your doctor. If breastfeeding or pregnant, or likely to become pregnant, consult a pharmacist or a doctor before use.
